Responsible Gambling
Gambling is supposed to be fun, excitement and entertainment. It is also supposed to only supplement an income. Not be the only means of it, unless of course it’s been handled on a professional level which includes self-discipline by default. It’s great when a big score is made. But it should not become an obsession and the sole purpose for every waking moment. Unfortunately, the examples to the contrary are plenty, this is why responsible gambling is always an important topic.
Entire estates have been lost, families have been left homeless and without even the most basic means of survival, children have been separated from their parents to be raised by foster care, people have ended their lives because of their addiction. Not to mention of course, the crimes that have been committed in order to find funds to feed the beast. It’s a gloomy picture, the one that is derived from the inability to handle the addiction. And it is an issue that is completely manageable.
We, at BetSpider, are quite aware that it is a quite serious problem socially, financially and emotionally and we are dedicated into supporting every means of responsible gambling.
Rules that can be followed and steps to be taken for responsible gambling:
Never use more money than what you can really afford. That means money that is in surplus after all the bills and the livelihood needs have been covered.
Listen to your friends and family when they start warning you that it is getting out of control. You can find help and support by specialists dedicated to this purpose. Seek the means of communication (telephone numbers, web pages, chat functions, etc…) that exist in every country and use them!
It is rarely a fact that control is lost immediately or in a very short time. Most of the times it is a gradual process that manifests itself over time. You can always use the functions provided by every bookie out there for self-limiting. There’s software on the market that can be used to restrict or block access to gambling sites that can be used when things start getting serious.
BetSpider wants all of its customers to enjoy and have fun responsibly. And we will do whatever we can to support this cause.
