The different formats

1. The decimal system

2. The fractional system

3. The American system

Odds 100 means that for a wager of $100 you will win another $100. Negative odds indicate the amount you have to pay to win $100. Obviously, it is widely used in the United States.
4. Hong Kong Style
More or less, it’s the fractional system written in decimal values. It is a number greater than zero (i.e. 0.50). It shows the clean profit.
5. Indonesian Style
It is the same with the American system, except you have to divide the odds by 100.
6. Malay Style
That’s a combined system of positive and negative odds. You should interpret it differently per case. A positive number provides a payout of the stake times the odds. A negative number for winning bet actually doubles the stake. For a lost bet you receive some of the stake back after multiplying the amount by the negative odds.
